And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications and a clear authority, 96 to Pharaoh and his Council. But they followed the command of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh's command was not right minded. 97 He shall go before his nation on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire. Evil is the watering place to be led down to! 98 A curse was sent to follow them in this world and then upon them on the Day of Resurrection. Evil is the offering to be offered. 99 Such were the stories of the nations of the past which We tell to you, (Muhammad). Some of them were destroyed and some of them have survived. 100 We wronged them not, but they wronged themselves. So their aliha (gods), other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them naught when there came the Command of your Lord, nor did they add aught (to their lot) but destruction. 101 And such is thy Sustainer's punishing grasp whenever He takes to task any community that is given to evildoing: verily, His punishing grasp is grievous, severe! 102 Indeed in that (there) is a sure lesson for those who fear the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, and that is a Day when all (the dwellers of the heavens and the earth) will be present. 103 and We shall not postpone it, save to a term reckoned; 104 On the day when it cometh no soul will speak except by His permission; some among them will be wretched, (others) glad. 105 As for the wretched, they shall be in the Fire, and in it they shall sigh and groan. 106 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. 107 ۞ As for the happy, they shall live in Paradise for ever, as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and as your Lord wills an unbroken gift. 108 So be not thou in dubitation concerning that which these people worship. They worship not save as their fathers worshipped afore; and verily We will repay unto them in full their portion, undiminished. 109
