The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
