And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
