Hizb 28
< random >
۞ Allah hath said: Choose not two gods. There is only One Allah. So of Me, Me only, be in awe. 51 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and His the judgement for ever. So will you fear any other than God? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 When He saves you from the hardship, some of you start to believe in idols. 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions. 56 They ascribe daughters to God, God is too Exalted to have daughters, but they can have whatever they want. 57 And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah's is the loftiest attribute; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
