The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
