Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved from among the people of the Book and the associaters could not break off, until there had come unto them the evidence. 1 An Apostle from God, reading out hallowed pages 2 Containing firm decrees. 3 Nor did those to whom the Book had been given split up until after the Proof (of the Right Way) had come to them. 4 And they were not enjoined anything except that they should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, upright, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their recompense is with their Lord; Gardens of Eden, underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is wellpleased with them, and they are wellpleased with Him. That is for he who fears his Lord! 8
