▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
