It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
