And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 Remember also Our servants Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhul Kifl; each is among the excellent. 48 This is a Remembrance; and for the godfearing is a fair resort, 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
