Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
