With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
