۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
