Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 Till a limit known? 22 Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners. 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 "Move towards what you used to deny!" 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 And when the time comes for messengers -- 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
