Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
