Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
