۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
