And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners, 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
