1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet' 36 Not in the least. He has brought the truth and confirmed the other messengers. 37 (They will be told), "You will certainly suffer the painful torment 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth), 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)' 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they in their footsteps are rushing. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 though We had sent among them warners. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
