Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
