The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
