The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 It is the star that pierces through [life's] darkness: 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
