The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
