A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad. 1 This Book has been sent down to you; so do not hesitate to warn (the unbelievers) through it, and remind the faithful. 2 Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember. 3 And how many a town that We destroyed, so Our punishment came to it by night or while they slept at midday. 4 When Our wrath struck them, they could do nothing but confess to their sins. 5 So undoubtedly We shall question those to whom Our Noble Messengers went, and indeed We shall question the Noble Messengers. 6 Then most certainly We will relate to them with knowledge, and We were not absent. 7 The weighing on that Day will be the true weighing: those whose scales are heavy will prosper. 8 And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses. 9 We have made you inhabit the land and provided you with the means of sustenance. Only a few of you give thanks. 10
