Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 till Gog and Magog are let loose and slide down out of every slope; 96 when the true promise of God draws near, those who denied the truth will stare in amazement, crying, "Woe to us! We have been so heedless of this. Indeed, we were wrongdoers." 97 Verily ye and whatsoever ye worship beside Allah shall be firewood for Hell: thereunto ye shall go down. 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they will hear not. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. 102 The supreme awesomeness [of the Day of Resurrection] will cause them no grief, since the angels will receive them with the greeting: "This is your Day [of triumph - the Day] which you were promised!" 103 On that Day We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll of parchment. As We originated the first creation, so shall We repeat it. This is a promise binding on Us. Truly, We shall fulfill it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Surely, in this is a proclamation to a worshiping nation. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 "It is He Who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts). 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 He saith: My Lord! Judge Thou with truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent, Whose help is to be implored against that which ye ascribe (unto Him). 112
