Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers." 52 And they ask thee to hasten on the torment. And had not there been a term appointed, the torment would surely have come unto them. And surely it shall come upon them of a sudden while they perceive not. 53 They ask you to hasten the chastisement upon them although Hell encompasses the unbelievers. 54 On the Day the punishment will cover them from above them and from below their feet and it is said, "Taste [the result of] what you used to do." 55 O My creatures who believe, surely My earth has plenty of scope and so worship only Me. 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us ye shall be returned. 57 Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers, 58 and who are steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 59 And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 60 And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 61 Allah outspreads and restricts His provision to whomsoever He will of His worshipers. Allah has knowledge of all things. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
