AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
