Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
