Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
