Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
