The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
