The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 It will engulf them. 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
