The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephants? 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 and send against them flocks of birds, 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
