O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in that which I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and barter not My revelations for a small price, and Me alone shall ye fear. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer). 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded, 45 Who are conscious that they have to meet their Lord, and to Him they have to return. 46
