Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 right before your very eyes? 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
