Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
