NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 it is a warning to man, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
