Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
