Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
