Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (Allah) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. 36 and these satans hinder them from the Right Path, while he still reckons himself to be rightly-guided. 37 When such a person comes to Us, he will say [to his comrade], "If only you had been as far away from me as east is from west. What an evil comrade!" 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 (Muhammad), can you make the deaf hear or guide the blind or the one who is clearly in error? 40 Even if We take you away, We shall take vengeance upon them, 41 Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them. 42 So hold fast to all that has been revealed to thee: for, behold, thou art on a straight way; 43 And verily it is an admonition unto thee and thy people; and presently ye will be questioned. 44 Ask all Our Messengers whom We sent before you whether We had appointed any deities beside the Merciful One to be worshipped. 45
