And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 and showed them signs in which there was a clear test. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better than the tribe of Tubba (name of a Yemenite tribal chief) and those who lived before them? We destroyed them. They were criminals. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 The Day of Decision is the appointed time for all. 40 The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
