Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

SAY: "I seek refuge with the Sustainer of the rising dawn, 1 From the mischief of created things; 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 from the evil of the blowers on knots; 4 And from the evil of the envier when he envieth. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
