It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
