▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. 59 Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to terrify thereby the enemy of God and your enemy, and others besides them that you know not; God knows them. And whatsoever you expend in the way of God shall be repaid you in full; you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing. 61 If they want to deceive you, God is All-sufficient for you. It is God who supported you with His own help and with that of the believers, 62 And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. 63 O Prophet! Allah is Sufficient for thee and those who follow thee of the believers. 64
