The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
