We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
