Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 for an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
