Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 watching over you 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
