Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
