The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
