The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the night enshrouding 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); 4 So for one who gave and practised piety 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 We shall facilitate for him the Way to Bliss. 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 And denies the best [reward], 9 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery; 10 and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]? 11 Indeed guiding is upon Us. 12 and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. 13 So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. 14 No one will burn in it but the most wretched, 15 He who denieth and turneth away. 16 And Al-Muttaqun (the pious and righteous - see V. 2:2) will be far removed from it (Hell). 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 only seeking the Face of his Lord the Most High; 20 surely, he shall be satisfied. 21
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
